Hi, I’m Stephie — and at heart, I’m a storyteller, creative and coach.

I come from an Australian First Nations family, and I am a proud Yuwaalaraay/Gunggari + Jinaburra/Kabi Kabi woman; Storytelling is woven into every part of my connection to our people and history - sharing dreamings, storylines, and culture is just part of who I am.

My career journey began in the hairdressing industry, where I’ve spent over 35 years listening to thousands of stories shared from the chair. Those everyday conversations — about love, loss, reinvention, and courage — taught me that storytelling is so much more than words. It’s about connection, healing, transformation, and the deep human need to be seen and heard; and the sharing of these stories connects and heals...This is the reason why I Podcast, create and write.​

That love for people’s journeys and stories eventually guided me into the world of coaching and leadership where I utilised my all of my storytelling and listening skills for healing - combining hair and coaching with the other parts of my career in branding, marketing, communications, digital is where I’ve spent the past 20+ years helping businesses, teams, and individuals discover and share their own stories with purpose and impact. From salons to boardrooms, ideas to branding, campaigns to transformations, one truth has stayed constant: stories shape how we connect, create, lead, and grow.
